The piece
The largest piece in the collection and the lightest to carry. Worn over the shoulders in the evening, or folded away until the cold returns. Each shawl takes weeks of hand-knitting.

Craftsmanship
Hand-knitted in small numbers. Slight differences between pieces are normal and are a property of hand work, not a fault.
Care
Do not machine wash. Hand wash cold, with a very mild soap, or have the piece cleaned by a specialist. Do not wring. Press the water out in a towel and dry flat, away from heat. Store folded, not on a hanger. Full care guide below.
