The piece
Lace makes a warm fibre feel like air. The open stitch holds the qiviut in a fine, regular pattern and gives the scarf its drape. Hand-knitted, which is why the numbers are small.

Craftsmanship
Hand-knitted in small numbers. Slight differences between pieces are normal and are a property of hand work, not a fault.
Care
Do not machine wash. Hand wash cold, with a very mild soap, or have the piece cleaned by a specialist. Do not wring. Press the water out in a towel and dry flat, away from heat. Store folded, not on a hanger. Full care guide below.
